Cookie Policy
Effective as of 30 August 2026This policy describes how the www.takyo.cz website and the Takyo mobile app use cookies and similar technologies. Short version: we do not use them.
The website and the app are operated by Továrna na absolutno s.r.o., Company ID (IČO): 243 83 171, with its registered office at Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Prague 10, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under file no. C 439513 (hereinafter referred to as "Takyo" or "we"), which is also the controller of your personal data. For any question about cookies or data protection, you can reach us at ola@takyo.cz.
01 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are used, for example, to remember your login or preferences, but often also to track visitor behaviour and target advertising. Besides cookies, there are similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, or tracking pixels; whatever this policy says about cookies applies to them as well.
02 Do we use cookies? No.
The www.takyo.cz website stores no cookies in your browser. No strictly necessary ones, no analytics, no performance, and no marketing cookies. We do not use other tracking technologies either, such as tracking pixels or browser fingerprinting.
We measure how many people visit the website and which pages they read with Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia, data stored on servers in the EU). Plausible stores no cookies and nothing else in your browser, it does not store IP addresses, and it does not link individual visits into a profile. We only see aggregate numbers, for example that forty people read an article and arrived from Google. None of it identifies you.
Apart from Plausible, we deploy no other third-party services on the website: no advertising systems, no embedded social media content.
That is why you will not find a cookie banner on the website. There is nothing to consent to.
You do not have to take our word for it: in your browser settings you can inspect the cookies stored for www.takyo.cz. The list will be empty.
If you leave us your e-mail address on the website to join the waitlist, it is sent directly to our server and no cookie is stored in the process. How we handle your e-mail is described in our Privacy Policy.
03 The Takyo mobile app
The mobile app is not a web browser and does not use cookies. To work, it stores technical data necessary for its operation in your device's storage: your login session (in the system's secure storage), content downloaded for offline use, and your settings. This data serves solely to make the app work. We do not use it to track you across apps or websites, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. 04 Legal framework
The storing of cookies and similar data on end devices is governed by Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, and by the GDPR. Consent is required for all cookies except those that are technically necessary. Since we store no cookies at all, we do not need and do not ask for any consent.
05 What if this changes
We want Takyo to stay cookie-free and banner-free; it is a deliberate choice, not a coincidence. If storing technical data in your browser ever becomes necessary for a feature (for example, signing in to your account on the website), we will update this policy in advance and keep it to the necessary minimum. Any cookies other than technically necessary ones would only be deployed with your prior consent.
06 Final provisions
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always available at takyo.cz/en/cookies and the effective date of the current version is stated at the top of this document.
This policy is drawn up in Czech and English; in case of any discrepancy between the language versions, the Czech version prevails.
